Harvey Glickman, Senior Fellow, is professor emeritus of political science at Haverford College. He earned his A.B. from Princeton, was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow (Lincoln College, Oxford University), 1952–53, completed his M.A. at Harvard, and in 1958 earned his Ph.D. in political science from Harvard. He joined Haverford’s faculty in 1960 and has also taught at Princeton University, Dar Es Salaam University, Cape Town University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, and Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He is the author of many articles and reviews in a number of scholarly journals of political science and Africana, as well as author and editor of numerous volumes. He has served as Secretary of the American Political Science Association, manuscript reviewer for several journals and academic publishers, and as consultant to several U.S. government agencies and annual reference volumes.
On November 15th at the FPRI annual dinner Fouad Ajami was presented with the Seventh Annual Benjamin Franklin Public Service Award. The event was attended by over 360 people.
