Photo of Arthur Cyr Arthur I. Cyr is the A.W. and Mary Margaret Clausen Distinguished Professor of Political Economy and World Business, and Director of the Clausen Center for World Business, at Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin. Previously, he was President of the Chicago World Trade Center Association, the Vice President of the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, a faculty member and administrator at UCLA, and an executive at the Ford Foundation. Dr. Cyr received a Ph.D. with distinction in political science from Harvard University in 1971. He served in the U.S. Army reserves and on active duty as an officer in military intelligence.
