Elise Carr

Elise Carr is secretary of the Gladwyne Civic Association, a Manager of the National Society of Colonial Dames, and a member of the Women’s Committees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Children’s Hospital. She is a former board member of the Springside School in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Women’s Campaign Fund and Pennsylvania Campaign for Choice, president of Great Oaks Investment Club–Acorn Club, and vice president of the Acorn Club Board of Managers. She received an associate degree from Pine Manor Junior College and a B.A. from George Washington University. She is married to Richard R. Carr, president of Brynfield Management Co.; the Carrs have four adult children.
