Paul Bracken is an FPRI Senior Fellow, a member of its Board of Advisors, and Professor of Management and Political Science at Yale University.  A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, he served on the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel for many years.  His undergraduate degree is from Columbia University in engineering, and his Ph.D. is from Yale University in operations research — and he is an avid ham radio operator K3SOC.  Bracken is a leading professor in Yale’s executive education programs.  He is the author of many books, including The Second Nuclear Age, Strategy, Danger, and the New Power Politics (Henry Holt).
