Soon Won Park

Soon Won Park is Assistant Professor of History at Howard University. She is author of Colonial Industrialization and Labor in Korea: The Onoda Cement Factory  (Harvard University Press, 1999) and co-editor, with Gi-Wook Shin and DaQing Yang, of Rethinking Historical Injustice in Northeast Asia: The Korean Experience in Regional Perspective (Routledge). She received her B.A. in English Literature from the Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, Korea; her M.A. in English History from the University of San Francisco; and her Ph.D. in History and East Asian Languages (Major in Modern Korean History, and minor in Modern Japanese History).
