Barak Mendelsohn is a Senior Fellow of FPRI and Associate Professor of Political Science at Haverford College, where he teaches courses on the Middle East and International Politics.  He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and is author of Countering Jihadism (University of Chicago Press, 2009).  His articles have been published by the New York Times, Foreign Affairs, and the prominent British journal Survival.
