| Center for the Study of America and the West

About the Event

Seventy-five years ago, the Grand Alliance that would defeat Nazi Germany was forged, and three towering world leaders - Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Joseph Stalin - stood at the center of this unfolding drama. Their decisions and actions would change the course of the Second World War. To discuss the role their alliance played in confronting the horrific menace of Nazi-dominated Europe, we are pleased to present historian and strategic analyst John H. Maurer.

John MaurerMaurer is the Alfred Thayer Mahan Professor of Sea Power and Grand Strategy at the Naval War College and a Senior Fellow at FPRI.
