The Foreign Fighter Phenomenon – Overview

David Malet of the George Washington University presented a paper on the foreign fighter problem, which was then discussed by a panel of Mary R. Habeck of SAIS, of the Johns Hopkins University; Erin Simpson, Marine Corps Command and Staff College; and Clinton Watts, Innovative Analytics and Training. It was moderated by Michael Horowitz, of the University of Pennsylvania and a Senior Fellow of FPRI.

This presentation was part of The Foreign Fighter Problem, a conference sponsored by FPRI’s Program on National Security and hosted by the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
