David Lesch of Trinity University presented a case study of foreign fighters and Syria, which was discussed by Murhaf Jouejati of National Defense University and Andrew Tabler of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. It was moderated by Harvey Sicherman, President of FPRI.
This presentation was part of The Foreign Fighter Problem, a conference sponsored by FPRI’s Program on National Security and hosted by the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
On November 15th at the FPRI annual dinner Fouad Ajami was presented with the Seventh Annual Benjamin Franklin Public Service Award. The event was attended by over 360 people.
