Chris MillerDoes the invasion of Ukraine herald a new era of protracted conflict between Russia and the West?  What is Vladimir Putin thinking? What are his aims? Where is he headed? To comment on these questions, we are pleased to feature a conversation with a new appointed fellow of FPRI, Dr. Christopher Miller, who is also Associate Director of the Program in Grand Strategy at Yale University. He recently finished a book titled Collapse: The Struggle to Save the Soviet Economy, and is currently writing a new book titled Putinomics: The Price of Power in Russia. Miller’s other research interests include political economy, economic history, and financial history. He has served as a Research Fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, a Research Associate at the Brookings Institution, and as a lecturer at the New Economic School in Moscow. He received his PhD from Yale University and his B.A. from Harvard University.
