Congratulations to FPRI Senior Fellow Michael C. Horowitz on the publication of his new book "The Diffusion of Military Power: Causes and Consequences for International Politics" (Princeton University Press).
An assistant professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania, Horowitz explores the history of military innovation, analyzes the spread of military innovations, and assesses the impact on the balance of power.

On November 15th at the FPRI annual dinner Fouad Ajami was presented with the Seventh Annual Benjamin Franklin Public Service Award. The event was attended by over 360 people.
