School Library Journal Praises Series on Islam

The May issue of the School Library Journal, the world's largest reviewer of books for children and teens, reviews favorably the 10-volume Mason Crest-FPRI series on The World of Islam:

“These titles do a good job of making clear the issues facing the Muslim world…. They also show the diversity of thought and opinion within Islam, separating radical Islam and radical Islamists from the majority…. [T]he books illustrate the diversity of Islamic faith in a clear and unbiased manner.”

An excerpt of John Calvert's volume on “Divisions within Islam” was published in Footnotesa>, the FPRI series of bulletins for educators, under the title “Sunni Islam: What Students Need to Know.”
