On the University of Chicago’s decision to launch a new global policy center at its domestic-focused Harris Center for Public Policy, McGann said that it was a “curious” choice, calling it “…an apple in an orange basket.” He later added that the Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ new leadership has made the organization one to watch, saying also, “It will be a test of time in terms of whether [they] can he build a staff and totally transform the organization.”
