Edward L. Snitzer received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After serving in the United States Navy, he practiced law in Philadelphia from 1957 to 1971. He is the author of a recognized legal texts and was a lecturer in law at Temple Law School. From 1972-81 he was President and CEO of a private family holding company and in 1982, co-founded, along with Dr. Marshall E. Blume, the Howard Butcher Professor of Finance and Director of the Rodney White Center for Financial Research at the Wharton School, Prudent Management Associates, a Philadelphia investment management firm. He is a Trustee of both the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network and the Jefferson Health System. He has been Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Einstein Healthcare network and was a Vice-Chairman of the Network, Treasurer of the Settlement Music School, and President of Congregation Rodeph Shalom.
