J.G. Rubenstein is retired, He was principal of Omni Management Associates and senior advisor to Stonington Partners. From 1988-99 he was director and senior advisor with Merrill Lynch Capital Partners; earlier positions include serving as president of IU International and executive vice president of Ryder Truck Lines. He has been the George P. Baker Lecturer in Transportation and Logistics at Harvard Business School and a guest speaker at the Wharton Entrepreneurial Center. He is a director of  the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (chair of the board) and Marlboro Music School, and is a former director of Lincoln Technical Institute and the Curtis Institute of Music.
