To address these topics and more, we have asked Dr. Jacqueline Deal to be our guest speaker for the inaugural Foreign Policy Round Table for Rising Philadelphians.

Jacqueline DealDr. Jacqueline Deal, an FPRI Senior Fellow, is President and CEO of the Long Term Strategy Group, a Washington, DC-based defense consultancy. For the last decade, she has worked with the Director of the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Net Assessment on projects related to East Asia. Recent studies include an analysis of the security implications of alternative Chinese futures, an assessment of China’s capacity for technological innovation, and a book chapter on China’s energy security strategy. She has been published in the New York TimesPolicy Review, the Weekly Standard, and War in History, and she has been cited in a range of media outlets including Newsweek. Prior to entering the national security field, she worked as a journalist and an investment analyst.
