The Foreign Policy Research Institute will be hosting its first Google Hangout livestream event focusing on Graeme Woods’ Atlantic article “What ISIS Really Wants” and also discussing the issues of countering violent extremism, foreign fighters, and al Qaeda. FPRI’s Director of Research Michael Noonan will moderate the discussion and will be joined by Will McCants of the Brookings Institution, the Philadelphia Inquirer’s foreign policy columnist Trudy Rubin, and former FBI special agent and current FPRI Senior Fellow Clint Watts. A recording of this event will also be made available to view after the event, and will be posted on the FPRI website.
