Does America Need an Enemy?

October 12, 2017 | 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm | Center for the Study of America and the West

About the Event

Existential enemies have a way of uniting a country. Could America’s current state of division be related to the absence of such an enemy? In this talk, Tierney takes an unorthodox look at America and the world, placing our current challenges in a larger historical perspective.
