Paraphrasing Winston Churchill, it has been said of the two-state solution that it is the worst possible solution to the Israel-Palestine dispute, except for all the others. Nonetheless, its death or imminent passing continues to be announced periodically.

Maen Rashid AreikatWe are pleased to speak with Ambassador Maen Rashid Areikat, the head of the PLO Delegation in the United States. Amb. Areikat, who enjoys 11 years of experience in the Negotiations Affairs Department of the PLO in Ramallah. Alan Luxenberg, President of FPRI, will conduct the conversation, discussing the prospects for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, particularly in light of the larger turmoil engulfing the region.
