As America’s top diplomat in Havana under Presidents Clinton and Bush, Vicki Huddleston will provide a unique perspective on the decades of tumultuous US-Cuban relations since the Castro Revolution. As discussed in her new memoir, Our Woman in Havana: America’s Long Struggle with Fidel Castro’s Revolution, Huddleston will examine this history, while also assessing Presidents Obama’s attempts at normalization, the rollback in relations under President Trump, and the prospects for a post-Castro Cuba.
