A nation must think before it acts.
Having been among the first historians granted access to the previously closed Vietnam Archives, Lien-Hang Nguyen has changed the way historians view the Vietnam War. Nguyen will share with us her insights into the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese point of view, delving deeply into the goings-on within the North Vietnamese government. Her forthcoming book, Tet 1968: The Battles that Changed the Vietnam War and the Global Cold War will provide a comprehensive history of the battle that changed the course of the war.
