A nation must think before it acts.
China is playing an increasingly important role in Central Asia, from infrastructure to the military to traders to private security firms. How can we assess China's impact on Central Asia today? How is China perceived by Central Asian governments? What is the current status of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative in the region? In this event, Chris Miller, Director of FPRI's Eurasia Program, will moderate a conversation with two experts, Edward Lemon and Nargis Kassenova.
Zoom instructions will be provided upon registration.
