After three elections over the course of a year, Israel is no closer to forming a government. No bloc has been able to secure the majority of seats in the Israeli Knesset. Benjamin Netanyahu is still under indictment. And now, with Israel facing an emergency over the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Israeli political system has been turned on its head. Benny Gantz's Kahol-Lavan Party has dissolved and he has assumed the post as Speaker of the Knesset. In an effort to manage the crisis, Gantz and his faction are vowing to form a Unity Government with Netanyahu's Likud Party - a move that might just save Netanyahu's political life. Joining us to discuss the latest developments is FPRI Senior Fellow Joshua Krasna, an expert on Israeli government and politics.
