FPRI takes the health of our staff, speakers, and guests seriously. We have been closely monitoring information from local, state, and federal officials regarding the CoronaVirus (COVID-19), and in an abundance of caution, we have decided to forego the live version of this event. In its place, we will be holding the event virtually on Zoom.

 

In this discussion, Miller and Nagl will address both the domestic and foreign policy challenges facing Vladimir Putin, and how Putin appears to be doing in meeting those challenges. Miller is Director of FPRI’s Eurasia Program and and an Assistant Professor of International History at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.  He is a regular contributor to ForeignPolicy.com. and is author of Putinomics: Power and Money in a Resurgent Russia (University of North Carolina Press, 2018).
