Aaron Glasserman

Non-Resident Fellow - Asia Program

Aaron Glasserman is a Non-Resident Fellow in the Asia Program at FPRI and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Study of Contemporary China. His research examines Chinese politics, history, and foreign policy, with a focus on ethnic and religious minorities and China’s relationship with the Middle East. His work has been published in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, and The China Quarterly, among other outlets. He has held research positions at Harvard, Princeton, and the Wilson Center and received a PhD in History from Columbia in 2021 and a BA in Near Eastern Studies with certificates in Chinese and Arabic from Princeton in 2013.
