Alma Keshavarz is a Middle East policy expert, with a focus on Iran and Iraq, and currently part of the Hoover Institution’s research staff. Keshavarz previously served on the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning staff and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Politics and Strategy at Carnegie Mellon University. Her works appeared in Small Wars Journal, Foreign Military Studies Office, the Atlantic Council, and elsewhere.
