Chelsea L. Daymon is a Presidential Fellow in the Transcultural Conflict, and Violence Initiative and is perusing a PhD in Communications at Georgia State University. She holds a Masters in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and a Bachelors and honorary Masters in Oriental Studies from Cambridge University, UK. Her research interests include Islamic movements, terrorism, terror groups’ use of the Internet and encrypted platforms, foreign fighters, radicalization, and de-radicalization. She is also the Executive Producer of The Loopcast, a podcast focusing on national security, international affairs, and information security.
