Daniel Nexon is a Professor at Georgetown University, with a joint appointment in the Department of Government and the School of Foreign Service. His academic work covers topics in international-relations theory, American foreign policy, power politics, the politics of religious contention, and the relationship between popular culture and world politics. His books include Exit from Hegemony (Oxford, 2020, co-authored with Alexander Cooley) and The Struggle for Power in Early Modern Europe (Princeton, 2009).
