David Jones, an FPRI alumnus, is a retired senior Foreign Service Officer who was Minister Counselor for Political Affairs at U.S. Embassy Ottawa. He coauthored Uneasy Neighbo(u)rs: Canada, The USA, and the Dynamics of State, Industry and Culture—a study of U.S.-Canadian bilateral relations in the twenty-first century, and he authored Alternative North Americas:  What the United States and Canada Can Learn from Each Other.
