Heather Stur, Ph.D. is the General Buford Professor of Military History at The University of Southern Missouri. Her research and teaching interests include U.S. foreign relations; women, gender, and war; global Cold War; comparative colonialisms; decolonization; Vietnam War; modern Vietnamese history; warfare and diplomacy; war and American identity; American experience in the Cold War. Stur was a Fulbright Scholar in Vietnam in 2013-2014.
