I. William Zartman

I. William Zartman is the Jacob Blaustein Professor of International Organization and Conflict Resolution at the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University. His most recent book is Peacemaking in International Conflict: Methods and Techniques, co-edited with Lewis Rasmussen (U.S. Institute of Peace, 1998). He has been mediating the civil war in Congo-Brazzaville for the Carter Center.
