Keith Darden

Dr. Keith Darden is an Associate Professor in the School of International Service at American University with research specializations in comparative politics, international relations, and Eurasian politics. His first book, Economic Liberalism and Its Rivals: The Formation of International Institutions among the Post-Soviet States, won the 2010 Hewett Award from ASEEES and was recognized as an honorable mention for the Shulman prize. Outside of the classroom, Dr. Darden holds an impressive array of responsibilities. He serves as co-editor of the Cambridge University Press Series on Problems of International Politics and has been a Fellow at the Wissenschaftszentrum in Berlin, the Davis Center for Russian Studies, and the Harvard Academy for International and Area Studies. Dr. Darden is also an active member of the Program on New Approaches to Research and Security in Eurasia (PONARS Eurasia).
