Mariam Davlashelidze

Mariam Davlashelidze is a Research Intern in the Eurasia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. She contributes to FPRI’s BMB Ukraine, a popular twice-weekly news brief covering Ukrainian domestic and foreign affairs. Prior to joining FPRI, Mariam was a Mediator at Quincy district court, Boston, Massachusetts, and a virtual facilitator at Soliya international organization founded in New York. She is contributing to approach cross-cultural differences constructively and leading with empathy to thrive in an interconnected world. Mariam holds a Masters’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston with the specialty of Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict resolution. She is also a graduate of the International Black Sea University Tbilisi, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Mariam is from Georgia, and her interests include Eurasian Studies, conflict transformation processes in Eastern Europe and Caucasus regions. Grassroot change initiatives and the role of Encounter programs in conflict transformation and International Negotiations.
