Mary C. FitzGerald is a research fellow in the Washington office of the Hudson Institute and an adjunct professor at the Air Command and Staff College in Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. She has written extensively on Soviet/Russian military affairs and is completing a Ph.D. in international relations at Georgetown University.
