Mary N. Hampton teaches at the Air War College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, and is associate professor of political science at the University of Utah. She is author of The Wilsonian Impulse: U.S. Foreign Policy, the Alliance, and German Unification(Westport, London: Praeger, 1996).
