Michael DeAngelo completed his Master’s in Public and International Affairs with concentrations in Security and Intelligence Studies and African Studies from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. He is currently a United States Department of Defense Boren Fellow based in Dakar, Senegal. He is studying Wolof and serving as Research Assistant at the Timbuktu Institute: African Center for Peace Studies.
