Program Assistant - Asia Program

Roberto Castro is an Asia Program Assistant at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI). Previously, he served as a Program Assistant with the China and Northeast Asia team at the US Institute of Peace and interned at the Institute for Indo-Pacific Security and the National Committee on US-China Relations. Across these roles, he supported research and programming on deterrence, conflict prevention, and security challenges related to the Indo-Pacific. Roberto holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and Politics from Bates College and spent a semester studying Mandarin at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
