A nation must think before it acts.
Stacey Philbrick Yadav is an associate professor of International Relations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. Primarily interested in the politics of civil action in Yemen, over the past two decades she has written about many forms of non-violent contention, from party politics to popular protest to research and advocacy. Since 2019, she has been engaged in a series of research collaborations with Yemeni colleagues, some of which contributed to her latest book, Yemen in the Shadow of Transition: Pursuing Justice Amid War (Hurst/Oxford University Press, 2022).
