Steven Radil

Dr. Steven Radil is a political geographer and an Assistant Professor of Geospatial Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His research examines the spatial dimensions of political violence, including insurgency, civil war, and terrorism. Dr. Radil consults on security issues in the Sahel and West Africa for international organizations and has co-authored several major reports on political violence across the region, including Borders and Conflict in North and West Africa (2022) published by the OECD.
