Susan H. Goldberg is associated with the law firm of Allan M. Horwitz and Associates in Coatesville and Philadelphia and is Vice President of Horwitz Enterprises, a public relations and real estate investment firm. She has devoted much of her professional time to the development of her musical avocation and her interests in the visual and performing arts. She has appeared with choral groups, chamber ensembles, in two piano works, and as a principal soloist at such locations as the UN, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. She also has served and continues to serve as a mentor to young aspiring performing artists including Lang Lang, the world famous Chinese classical pianist and Pius Cheung, the Hong Kong born marimbist, among others. In her early professional career, she was promotion coordinator and production assistant with the then-national syndicated Mike Douglas Television Show. She has studied piano and communications at West Chester University and Temple University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts; a member of the Washington DC Board of Directors of Young Concert Artists, International, which advises and promotes the careers of gifted young performing artists; a member of the board of “Friends of Curtis Institute of Music” in Philadelphia; and the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Women’s Board. Ms. Goldberg and her husband, Sherwood “Woody” Goldberg, an international business advisor and corporate board member, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for D.C., and Advisor on Asian Affairs, maintain residences in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
