Thomas Laffitte

Non-Resident Fellow - Eurasia Program

Thomas Laffitte is a Non-Resident Fellow in the Eurasia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and a Ph.D. candidate enrolled in a double degree between Sciences Po, Paris and the Central European University, Vienna. His research focuses on the EU’s political economy and its geoeconomic response to the ongoing crises and the rise of China. Having lived and worked as a journalist across Hungary and Ukraine, he keeps an acute interest toward these two countries and the region in general. His work appeared in Le Figaro, Le Monde diplomatique, Mediapart and Ouest France. He also contributed as a columnist to the BMB Ukraine Newsletter.
