Tingyi Wang is a research fellow and Member of the Research Committee at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, a Member of the Academic Committee at the Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University, and a Senior Associate Fellow at the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies. A scholar of comparative politics, he specializes in Arab Gulf states, Great Powers and the Gulf, and broader Middle Eastern politics. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Peking University and a PhD in Political Sciences from Tsinghua University. He was previously a postdoctoral fellow at St Antony’s College at the University of Oxford (2020-21) and has taught at Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University.
