Zsolt Enyedi is Professor at the Political Science Department of Central European University. Between 2016 and 2020 he served as the Pro-Rector of his university. He published extensively on party systems, political attitudes, populism, religion and politics, de-democratization, party organization, and authoritarianism. His latest book, Party System Closure, written with Fernando Casal Bertoa, was published by Oxford University Press in 2021. Currently, he is the principal investigator and coordinator of the Horizon project Neo-Authoritarianisms in Europe and the Liberal Democratic Response.
