About the Event

Drawing on 32 years of experience in the CIA, where he served as deputy director of CIA’s operations outside the United States,  Jack Devine will explore the key challenges to American national security today and assess what may yet be over the horizon.

Devine’s book, “Good Hunting! An American Spymaster’s Story”, a New York Times bestseller, was published in June 2014. It focuses on his Agency career and the role of covert action in the past and the future. He has written op-eds and other essays for The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Foreign Affairs Magazine, and The Atlantic Monthly, and has also made guest appearances on CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox News, CSPAN, and PBS.

The recipient of the CIA’s Distinguished Intelligence Medal and several meritorious awards, Devine is a founding partner and President of The Arkin Group, a private sector intelligence company.
