The Fight Against Digital Disinformation

| National Security Program

About the Event

Despite being the home of the inventors of social media, the U.S. is currently struggling in a global information war. The U.S. has more resources, technological know-how, and reach than any country in the world, but America’s messengers struggle to create and maintain trust with audiences at home and abroad. Why does America continue to struggle in the information space and how can the U.S. regain its footing in an age of digital disinformation? This discussion will explore how the U.S. can make gains moving forward in restoring the truth and promoting America worldwide.
