W(h)ither the G-7 in the Time of COVID

| Center for the Study of America and the West

About the Event

As the G-7 summit approaches, FPRI has assembled an expert panel to consider the group's future and its ability to compete effectively with China in a post-COVID world. How has the pandemic affected the G-7 both politically and geoeconomically? How have East Asian communitarian governments fared with their COVID responses as compared to those of the G-7 nations?  Will the G-7 adopt the D-10 proposal and expand to include India and South Korea? FPRI's Ronald J. Granieri will be joined by Amitai Etzioni and Ash Jain to discuss the upcoming summit and what it will mean for the future.

This event is part of the Robert Strausz-Hupé Project: The Atlantic System in a World of Great Power Rivalry.
