Israel’s New Government: Regional Implications of Netanyahu’s Return

December 19, 2022 | 11:00 am to 12:00 pm | Middle East Program

About the Event

The results of Israel's elections in late October signaled the return to power of longtime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who leads a coalition of right wing parties that will be sure to change and intensify conservative and nationalist trends in Israeli domestic and foreign policy. Following up on recent analysis within FPRI's Middle East Program, Senior Fellows Joshua Krasna and Brandon Friedman will join Director of Research James Ryan to discuss the components of the government that Netanyahu has formed, and what it means for shifting power arrangements in the Middle East.
