After weeks of fighting, it is clear that Russia has failed to achieve its initial military objectives, while the West has responded with sanctions and increased military support for Ukraine. To discuss this response, Dr. Aaron Stein, FPRI’s Director of Research, speaks with Mr. Rob Lee, Senior Fellow in FPRI's Eurasia Program, and Dr. Emily Holland, Assistant Professor in the Russian Maritime Studies Institute at the U.S. Naval War College.
