Join the Foreign Policy Research Institute on August 7 at 6:00 PM ET for a virtual event diving into United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Resolution 2758, a pivotal resolution adopted by the UNGA in 1971. This resolution recognized the People's Republic of China as "the only legitimate representative of China to the United Nations," effectively replacing the Republic of China (Taiwan). Our webinar will explore the historical significance, legal implications, and ongoing geopolitical impacts of this crucial resolution.

Courtney J. Fung - Dr. Courtney J. Fung is Associate Professor in the Department of Security Studies & Criminology at Macquarie University as well as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, Harvard University; at Asia Society Australia, and at the Lowy Institute.
