America at 250: The Enduring Power and Purpose of the United States

June 04, 2026 | 2:30 pm | Asia Program

About the Event

Two hundred fifty years after the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia, the United States stands at a pivotal moment. The nation that reshaped the global order now faces intensifying competition, economic uncertainty, and fundamental questions about its future role in the world.

What does America’s founding vision demand of us today? And what will it take to sustain U.S. leadership in the decades ahead?

Join us for a timely and forward-looking conversation marking America’s 250th anniversary. This event will go beyond reflection to focus on strategy by examining how the principles of 1776 continue to shape U.S. power, and what policymakers, business leaders, and citizens must do now to ensure the United States remains the world’s leading economic and global force.
